Easter is only a week and a half away, and what better way to get in the Easter spirit than with a classic Easter Tea?! A tea party with a 12 month old is…well…let’s just say it’s not your typical “pinky-up” tea party. Ha! But it sure was adorable and we created memories that we’ll giggle about for a long time.
Then it was time to head outside for the party. Gram showed baby A the table and the first thing she was interested in was grabbing the hot pink peep and sticking her hands into her cup of tea… not quite what you do with tea, little one! We both laughed and let her get herself (and Gram) messy with spilt tea.
Gram and baby A enjoyed their rice krispie nests. It was definitely a toddler-approved treat. This was baby A’s first sip of tea, but certainly not her last! Maybe next year she’ll realize it’s for drinking and not for sticking her hands in…
